21 May 2006 - Great Manchester 10k Run Congratulations to Annaliese and Ant who braved the inclement Manchester weather to complete this year's Manchester 10K Run (it rained from start to finish!). Both finished the run in less than an hour which is great going - especially as they've both been slaving away at their University finals this year so didn't have quite so much time to train. It sounds like the run itself was pretty tough going but both of them pulled off an impressive sprint finish! Annaliese and Ant were both placed right in front of their wave of runners - so you might have seen them on TV sporting their Daniel Courtney Trust T-shirts (although Annaliese did mention that they might have been obscured by three men dressed as nuns!) A big thank you once again to Annaliese and Ant for running for us - we really appreciate it!! And a big thank you to everyone who generously sponsored them - helping to raise a magnificent £356.92 so far! FANTASTIC!
