Love-A-Duck!!
What do you call a quarter of a million plastic ducks racing down the River Thames for charity? A 'quacking' good idea! And we're proud to be part of it this year...
Sunday the 31st of August is DUCK RACE DAY when a larger than average flock of ducks will take to the water at Moseley Lock, near Hampton Court Palace. By the middle of the afternoon, one of these intrepid creatures will have won it's sponsor the princely sum of .... £10,000 (as well as helping to raise thousands for charity). That
sponsor could be you!
To take part in this fantastic record breaking event, all you have to do is sponsor a duck or two (or maybe more) for the poultry (sic) amount of £2 per duck! At the same time it would be great if you could add a small donation to your final bill for the Daniel Courtney Trust!
We'll add more events as they are scheduled. Once the event has happened you'll find it in the breaking news section of the site. There you will hopefully find photographs of the event and a detailed piece on how the day went.
