17 March 07 - Donation to Edward House We are delighted to announce that we have made a recent donation to Edward House to pay for their internet service provider costs this year. In February 2006, we provided the funds to set up an internet facility for families staying at Edward House, so it a pleasure to be able to continue to give our support to the project. It was wonderful to read in a recent thank you letter from Edward’s Trust, how well the internet access has been received by the families staying at Edward House. One particular family who were forced to be apart were able to keep in contact easily and cheaply via the Internet through MSN Chat (saving them a fortune on mobile phone bills!). We hope to be able to continue to contribute to this important facility for many years to come. To learn more about Edward House please click here to visit their website. Edward House provides accommodation for the parents of seriously ill children whilst they are staying at Birmingham Children's Hospital, allowing them to stay by their sick child's bedside. We spent many months at Edward House when Daniel was at Birmingham. Edward House is much more than just a place to stay - the staff gave us so much friendship and support during our stayand continue to do so now. We can't imagine how we would have coped without Edward House and the people there, who provided us with a 'home from home' at a very difficult time.
