Hello! I’m Nick! I’m Mark’s younger brother (although you may not believe it by looking at my photo!), therefore Daniel’s uncle. I was honoured and delighted to be asked to be a Trustee for the Charity. Having been lucky enough to get to know Daniel very well while he was staying in Birmingham Children’s Hospital, I want to do all I can to support a charity set up in his memory. I was so impressed with the care he received in the hospital and the support Mark & Jo received from hospital staff and Edward’s Trust that I welcome the opportunity to give something back. |

I carry an organ donor card and have been a blood donor for many years and through being part of Daniel’s situation, can see even more clearly how important this is. I therefore intend to promote organ donation, assist with fundraising and support Mark and Jo in anyway I can to ensure that Daniel is remembered and his charity thrives.
Daniel was lucky to have received two transplants in his short lifetime. As Daniel's family we will always be grateful to two very special families who gave Daniel such an incredible gift. Raising awareness of the need for more people to sign the Organ Donor Register is very important to us.
